Creatures of Sonaria Controls

Open and test current Creatures of Sonaria controls on PC, mobile, Xbox, or PlayStation, including movement, interaction, sniff, map, rest, and creature abilities.

Creatures of Sonaria controls depend on platform, current interface, mobility, and the selected creature’s abilities. The official Roblox description gives one dependable shortcut: press K in game on PC to view controls. Treat the live creature-specific list as the source of truth; use this page to find the action you need and test it safely.

Open the control list

On PC, press K after the creature has spawned. Current community Basic Gameplay documentation describes Creature Info sections for the creature, survival stats, and controls. On mobile, Xbox, or PlayStation, open the current Menu Actions, Creature Info, or help control shown by the live UI. Roblox-level remapping, accessibility, or controller settings may change the displayed binding.

Do not copy a full key sheet from a Legacy page. Current community archives mark Legacy as closed, and creature abilities vary. The live list should show only actions available to the current body and state.

Learn actions in a safe order

Group
Actions
Safe test
Failure risk
Movement
Walk, turn, camera, sprint, jump, fly, glide, swim, dart.
Open ground near shelter.
Draining stamina before an exit.
Survival
Interact, eat, drink, sniff, grab/drop, map.
Known compatible food and quiet water.
Stopping at an exposed prompt.
State
Sit, lie, stand, menu, Creature Info, pack, nest or territory.
Out of sight with a clear exit.
Resting while a threat approaches.
Combat
Primary attack, secondary attack, active abilities, calls or poses.
Empty space or consenting practice.
Starting a real fight accidentally.

Learn stop as carefully as start. Know how to stop sprinting, cancel or leave an action, land, surface, drop an object, stand, close a menu, and disengage an ability. Recovery controls prevent more deaths than one extra attack input.

PC keyboard and mouse route

Use K to inspect the live list. Current community references commonly document E as contextual interaction for eating, drinking, mud, tokens, or nest menus, and M for the minimap. They also document R for sitting under current controls. These are Community corroborated, not a substitute for the current list.

Test camera sensitivity and turning before sprinting. For a flier or glider, identify takeoff, fly/glide transition, pitch or tilt, landing, and stamina behavior. For an aquatic creature, identify ascend, descend, dart, and shore exit. Do not assume the same letter performs the same useful action for every mobility type.

If an interaction prompt disappears while moving, stop and reposition. Current community Basic Gameplay notes that eating and drinking behavior can depend on movement and held objects. Release grabbed food when required and watch the live prompt.

Mobile touch route

Find the on-screen movement control, camera area, action buttons, Menu Actions, map, Creature Info, and ability buttons. Rotate the device only if the interface supports it cleanly, and keep important actions away from system gestures where possible.

Test one button at a time and watch the stamina, ability, or interaction response. Touch labels can move between updates or screen sizes. Do not describe an icon by position alone; identify its displayed action name.

At water, ensure the eat/drink interaction does not conflict with swim direction on the chosen creature. Approach from shallow or protected terrain for the first test.

Xbox and PlayStation route

Roblox controller bindings and the game’s creature actions combine into the displayed control list. Open the current menu and map action names to the controller prompts you see. Identify movement, camera, sprint, interaction, jump or flight, map, Creature Info, rest, attack, and abilities.

If the prompt shows a controller family different from the physical controller, follow the button position only after testing in safe space. Platform firmware, Roblox updates, and game UI can change labels. Avoid publishing a guessed cross-platform conversion.

Creature-specific abilities

An active ability needs more than its button. Read the name, target, range, resource cost, duration, cooldown, and whether it can affect allies or nearby players. A passive has no activation key but requires understanding its trigger.

Open the control list again after changing creature, mobility, age state, or form. Do not assume the previous slot’s ability keys apply. The Abilities and Ailments guide explains how to test a tool without freezing an old cooldown.

Troubleshoot missing or unresponsive controls

First close chat, text fields, and menus that may capture input. Reopen the control list and confirm the creature can perform the action in its current state. Check stamina, cooldown, target, terrain, water, pose, held object, and any status effect.

Rejoin a fresh server if the interface appears out of sync after an update. On controller or mobile, verify Roblox recognizes the input outside the specific ability. Change one setting at a time and do not install third-party macro or remapping software promoted by an untrusted guide.

For accessibility, adjust camera, sensitivity, interface scale, audio, and Roblox platform settings where supported. Preserve clear visual feedback for hunger, thirst, stamina, health, and statuses.

A five-minute practice circuit

  1. Open current controls and read every available action.
  2. Walk a circle while keeping the camera on one landmark.
  3. Sprint briefly, stop, and watch stamina recover.
  4. Use sniff and open the map without moving into danger.
  5. Interact with compatible food and fresh water.
  6. Test sit/rest and stand again in real cover.
  7. Test each creature-specific movement and active ability away from players.
  8. Repeat the route until you can exit a menu and move without searching.

Frequently asked questions

What key shows controls on PC?

The official Roblox experience description says to press K in game. If that does not work, use the current menu and check Roblox/game settings.

Why are some abilities missing?

Abilities depend on the selected creature and current state. Check Creature Info, age or form, cooldown, target, and current live controls.

Are Legacy controls still valid?

Do not use them for the current game. Community archives identify Legacy as closed. Use Recode/current documentation and the live list.

Evidence note

The PC K instruction is Official on the Roblox experience page. Control-menu structure and common interactions are Community corroborated through current Basic Gameplay and Controls, checked 2026-08-22 UTC. Exact bindings require the live platform UI.
