Creatures of Sonaria missions are easier to complete when you identify the mission family before choosing a creature or route. Region tasks teach you to operate inside a biome. Gacha tasks lead toward spin tokens. Timed missions organize daily, weekly, and monthly progress. Creature missions unlock specific species, while limited and event missions appear only during an active window. Their progress, reset, claim, and reward rules are not interchangeable.
Use Mission System to find the correct menu and mission family. Use Timed Missions to plan around rotations and protect progress before a deadline. Use Creature Missions when a named reward species has public or hidden requirements.
Identify the mission tab first
Regions
Biome-linked sets completed during normal survival. Choose a creature whose diet and mobility fit the region rather than forcing every slot through the same route.
Current structure corroboratedGachas
Tasks associated with gacha progress and tokens. Read the current target and claim state before repeating an action.
Live requirements decideTimed
Daily, weekly, and monthly tracks with different horizons and reward types. The visible countdown or current menu state outranks an old guide.
Rotation-sensitiveCreatures
Public reward and secret mission paths tied to specific species. Hidden tasks should be verified before consuming rare items.
Requirements need datesEvent or limited
Tabs or missions that appear during a specific promotion, week, or launch window. Do not carry last year's schedule into the current event.
Official/live window requiredCurrent community documentation describes the Missions window as containing Regions, Timed, Gachas, Creatures, and an Event tab when an event is active. That structure is a useful map, but requirements and rewards move. Open the live menu at the beginning and end of a session, especially before a daily or weekly rotation.
Build a route around survival
Mission progress is not valuable if the chosen slot repeatedly dies on the route. Read the task verbs and group them by place: travel, eat or drink, survive, grow, discover, interact, hunt, heal, nest, donate, spin, or complete another mission. Then choose a creature that reduces the hardest part of the group.
A mobile creature can connect distant regional tasks, while a durable or familiar creature may be better for survival time. Diet matters when a task keeps you in a biome with limited compatible food. Size matters when entrances or cover restrict movement. Do not choose solely by maximum speed; stamina recovery and the ability to leave danger can save more time than a fast first leg.
Plan a loop with a start resource, objective area, second resource, shelter, and exit. Complete several compatible tasks in one trip, but leave when hunger, thirst, stamina, weather, or player activity makes the next objective unsafe. A failed life can erase more progress than a cautious detour costs.
Claim deliberately
Some mission series reset only after a claim or enter a cooldown. Timed tracks can rotate with different behavior for retained progress. Because those details are update-sensitive, do not rely on a remembered schedule if the menu displays something else. Claim a finished reward before leaving when the interface indicates that claiming is required.
If a counter does not advance, check the exact creature size, realm, biome boundary, action type, and whether a token or shortcut invalidates natural growth. Region boundaries may not match the visual landmark perfectly. Move until the region chat or mission label reflects the intended area, then repeat one low-cost action.
Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work differently
Daily missions should fit inside one or two short routes. Complete actions you were already going to perform and avoid spending more on a task than the reward is worth to you. Weekly missions can depend on repeated daily activity, growth, or gacha actions, so inspect them early enough to avoid discovering a multi-day requirement at the end of the rotation.
Monthly missions reward consistent participation and can involve login days, nesting, exploration, weekly completions, or another longer objective under current rotations. Build a checklist from the live panel and mark tasks that depend on other players or multiple dates. Do the calendar-gated work first; a grindable task can be recovered later, while a missed unique day cannot.
Community documentation reports standard rotation patterns and specific reset hours, but those values can change, experience delays, or behave differently around an update. Use them to set a reminder only after comparing the current in-game timer. Record the timezone explicitly.
Approach creature missions without wasting resources
Public creature missions normally reveal their objective chain, while secret missions may obscure the reward or conditions. Start with a current, dated reference for the exact species, then verify each counter in the live Creatures mission tab. Do not perform a costly donation, gacha spin, item use, or creature sacrifice solely because an old comment lists it.
Separate permanent reward missions from timed creature rewards and event creature missions. A creature name appearing in several contexts does not mean every route is active. Confirm which tab owns the progress and whether the reward is a species, a stored creature, or another asset.
When a guide and the UI disagree, preserve the UI wording and date. The guide may describe a previous build, a different realm, or a community discovery that was later changed. Mark the disagreement instead of combining both requirement lists into one impossible checklist.
Coordinate group-dependent tasks
Nesting, pack, combat, healing, or discovery tasks may be faster with other players, but coordination adds risk. Agree on the task, place, number of repetitions, and exit condition before starting. Do not trade valuable assets as “collateral” for mission help and do not hand over an account.
Choose a low-traffic route when the task does not require a crowd. For pack work, keep enough food and water for every participant and stop if the group begins a fight that is unrelated to the mission. For nesting, protect the nester and the eggs; leaving or dying can disrupt the setup under current community-documented behavior.
A reliable mission session
- Open the Missions window and inspect every active tab.
- Write the exact task, timer, reward, progress, realm, and claim state.
- Group objectives by biome and action rather than menu order.
- Pick a creature whose mobility, diet, size, and growth fit the hardest objective.
- Test one action and confirm the counter moves before repeating it.
- Protect survival and leave a route when danger makes the next step inefficient.
- Claim completed rewards and verify the correct inventory or species entry.
- Reopen the panel before logout and record what remains before the next rotation.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my region mission not advance?
Confirm the current region or biome indicator, exact action wording, realm, creature requirement, and whether the mission is on cooldown. Visual map borders and mission regions may not be identical.
Do daily, weekly, and monthly missions reset together?
Do not assume they do. They operate on different time horizons, and current reset behavior belongs to the live timer and current update. Check each track separately.
Are secret creature mission requirements safe to follow from old videos?
Only as a starting hypothesis. Compare a current reference with the live mission counter before spending anything rare or repeating a long task.
Evidence note
Mission categories and current Recode structure are Community corroborated through the Mission System and Main Menu references, checked 2026-08-22 UTC. Exact rewards, rotations, counters, cooldowns, and hidden conditions remain Needs in-game testing unless the current menu confirms them.
